Two very different women are starring in their own real-life dramas behind the scenes of the Cannes Film Festival.

Journalist Daisy Harris is looking for a big scoop at her first Festival and is determined to embrace her new single status amongst all the glitz and glamour.
Behind the champagne and parties, secrets from the past are bubbling to the surface and difficult decisions need to be taken.
One thing’s for certain – by the end of the Film Festival their lives will have changed forever…
I am thrilled to be participating in the blog tour for this lovely book. I would like to thank Rachel from Rachel’s Random Resources for giving me the opportunity to take part as a relatively new blogger. You can find out more about the tour, as well as links to check out the other stops, here. Rachel was recently released from the hospital with coronavirus; it was scary for a while, but she is home now and recovering. Please join me in sending her some virtual good vibes and best wishes for a speedy and full recovery. Now, onto the book!
Springtime in the South of France, a glamorous film festival, juicy celebrity gossip, and romance… what more could you want in a book right now? Rendez-Vous in Cannes by Jennifer Bohnet is a bittersweet story of long-lost loves and the delight of new ones. While highly emotional at times, this is predominately a light-hearted, fun read. It is the perfect escape during the current chaotic state of the world; it provided me with hours of entertainment and escape. It has also made me eager to plan a vacation to Cannes…
“Do not mourn the past, nor worry about the future, live the present moment wisely and earnestly.” – Jennifer Bohnet, Rendez-Vous in Cannes
Are you a hopeless romantic? A Francophile? Someone who cannot get enough of the glitz and glamour of celebrities? Then you will love this book. While I enjoyed the romances in this book, I was drawn in by the setting. I could not get enough of the descriptions of Cannes and the surrounding landscape. It is the perfect backdrop for a sweeping love story. I do not want to give too much away, but the story of Anna’s life is beautiful. It really shows how much has changed in the past 40 years for women. This book will tug at your heartstrings and bring tears to your eyes, but ultimately leave you smiling. It is the perfect read to lift your spirits.
I would like to once again thank Rachel for giving me a spot on this tour, as well as NetGalley and Boldwood Books for providing me with an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
Please Note: This book was previously self-published many years ago, but this is a new, updated edition with extra content.
