Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Romance Books I’m Adding To My TBR

Top Ten Tuesday-3

Happy week of Valentine’s Day everyone, and welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week you just have to list your top ten responses to the prompt. This weeks prompt is a love-focused freebie.

When I logged into Goodreads earlier today I noticed that they are calling this week Romance Week, which I love! As part of Romance Week they are highlighting romance books. They also have a fun romance pen name generator. I wouldn’t say that I read a lot of romance, but I tend to enjoy them when I do. I do read a lot of chick-lit and romantic-comedy books though (which are different from romance in my opinion); in fact these are some of my favourite genres because these books are such a mood booster for me. The point of all this is that for my Top Ten Tuesday freebie this week I am going to list ten romance/chick-lit books that I am adding to my TBR.

Red, White & Royal Blue

The Rosie Project – Graeme Simsion

The Flat Share – Beth O’Leary

In Five Years – Rebecca Serle

The Husband’s Secret – Liane Moriarty

The Honeymooners – Christina Lauren

The Bookish Life of Nina Hill – Abbi Waxman

Regretting You – Colleen Hoover

The Happy Ever After Playlist – Abby Jimenez

Something Borrowed – Emily Giffin

What are your favourite chick-lit/romance books?

xx Claudia

I rarely read romance, but I really liked The Rosie Project. Enjoy.

    My TTT .

  2. I added Red, White, & Royal Blue to my TBR, too! Everyone seems to love it, so of course I have to try it. I’ve read The Bookish Life of Nina Hill, and while I didn’t particularly like the romance (then again, I’m not a big romance buff, either), I thought it was really funny! I hope you enjoy these.

    Here’s my TTT.

  3. As a mood reader I definitely go through romance binges depending on my mood but I’m a general sucker for romances. Haha I love love! <3 I've only read half the books on this list but look forward to reading the rest of them — especially In Five Years, which I think will destroy my feels? Great list 😀

  4. Ah! Quite a few of my swoon-worthy favourites on here so I’m getting some secondhand warm and fuzzies just by reading their titles. I hope you love them as you get to them! Happy reading and swooning!

  5. Loved The Rosie Project, The Unhoneymooners, and I just finished In Five Years a few days ago. It was so good! Very different. Flatshare is on my tbr, too. Great post! <3
