WWW Wednesday – 4 December 2019

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. Anyone can take part, even those without a blog. All you have to do is answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post on Sam’s post for the day. If you don’t have a blog you can respond here or head over to Sam’s post (click the photo for the link) and respond to her post.

The questions are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading Holly Banks Full of Angst by Julie Valerie. I am about halfway through, and I’m honestly not sure what I think about this book. It’s funny, sure, but it is also starting to get on my nerves in a way. Perhaps this is simply because that I have been reading more intense or serious fiction lately, which is very different from Holly Banks Full of Angst. It is certainly a fun, light-hearted read though, which is good for this time of the year.

What did you recently finish reading?

I recently finished The Child on Platform One and it seriously blew me away. It was fantastic. You can read my full review here.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next up is Mrs P’s Book of Secrets by Lorna Gray. It is a historical fiction set in the Cotswolds at Christmas-time, and I honestly can’t wait to read it. I’ve noticed that it hasn’t been receiving the greatest reviews on Goodreads, so I’m feeling slightly hesitant, but I’m not going to let those reviews change how I read the book. My own review should be up on the blog soon after I read it.

What are you currently reading?

xx Claudia

  1. Those all look interesting! I’m reading a copy of books at once, but I’m especially liking Little Women. Happy reading!

  2. I’m so glad your last read was such a good one! I hope your current book ends up being better than it currently is. I’m currently reading Lock Every Door and enjoying it a lot, which is exactly what I needed after reading a bunch of ‘meh’ thrillers. Have a great week of reading! 🙂
