Top Ten Tuesday-6

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. Anyone can take part, even those without a blog. All you have to do is answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post on Sam’s post for the day. If you don’t have a blog you can respond here or head over to Sam’s post and respond to her post.

The questions are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Two Lives of Lydia Bird – Josie Silver

I’m about halfway through the The Two Lives of Lydia Bird and I’ve already lost track of how many times I’ve cried. This book will break your heart, and I love it. Does anyone else adore books which make them feel like an emotional wreck? I wonder what that says about me…

What did you recently finish reading?

The Vineyards of Champagne – Juliet Blackwell

I haven’t actually gotten around to writing a full review of this book yet because I’ve had a lot going on, but I can say that I really enjoyed it. This book will make you want to immediately plan a trip to France, or at least pop open a bottle of champagne. Although, who are we kidding… i’m always in the mood for champagne. Seriously though, The Vineyards of Champagne is a fantastic historical fiction novel.

Us, In Pieces – Tasha Cotter and Christopher Green

I also recently finished Us, In Pieces, which was jointly written by Tasha Cotter and Christopher Green. If I’m being perfectly honest, I didn’t love it. It is not a bad book by any means – I actually think the authors are really talented – it just wasn’t the right story for me. I am no longer writing reviews for books that I would rate lower than three stars because I don’t feel comfortable doing so, so I won’t be posting a full review of this book.

What do you think you’ll read next?

House of Trelawney – Hannah Rothschild

I was notified a few days ago that my request for an ARC of this book has been approved, so I moved it straight to the top of my TBR. I’m so excited about this one!

What are you currently reading?

xx Claudia
